It turns out that life is just one big dream, a way to pass the time when traveling long distances.

When I wake up I'll be like, "What the fuck was that?"

"You didn't like my simulation?"

"It's not bad, It just got really fucked up at the end."

"Oh c'mon, chapter 2020 brings back the old classics, like viral infection... and fascism."

"Not a fan."

"Alright, that's enough buddy, sounds like you need to go to the hell simulator til you change your attitude."

------

I was driving down the south perimeter by the dump(landfill) the other day. It's got one of those speed limit signs that flash at you when you're going over the posted speed limit, which is 80 over there. I got super pumped when it flashed on my birth year, 81.

That's more of a joke for 80's kids, in that particular area anyway. Doesn't work for the 00's very well. 10's and 20's will only have really slow areas to fully get this joke.

This joke isn't going to be very good for a very long time.
Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-53951366452135345432020-07-14T08:41:00.002-05:002020-07-14T08:41:31.947-05:00It's been a long time.I smoked weed again.

Addiction can sometimes feel like a mountain climb. It's a beautiful view when you can get above the clouds and once you get over it, it get's easier.

But today it feels more like a daily fight. Stepping in to the ring over and over.

Sometimes it feels like you've won, but you have to keep winning.

Today I failed.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-37512388688015233752020-03-26T05:59:00.002-05:002020-03-26T05:59:53.502-05:00Every day it gets a little crazierThe past few weeks we've gone from everything is fine to if you go outside you might be fined. Ok, at least not here, but other players around the world you need to get some sort of pass that says you have something essential to do, otherwise you're ordered to stay home. I think I heard Alberta was fining people 1000$. I've heard Germany has had strict regulations.

I still can work, we're just not supposed to have more than one trade working on a house at one time. Chandra has lost a lot of clients and has been feeling depressed. She got a letter saying that she's going to lose her license for 9 months. Things around the house have been tense. I'm trying to keep things in a happy place. Talia has been out of school for a week and will be out for a few more.

I keep checking the numbers. We're now over 2000 deaths a day. Manitoba has 37 cases, no one has died yet, so that seems alright but it could start rising fast. There is one person in critical condition.

The weather has been getting warmer and Canadians have already been cooped up in their homes all winter. Trudeau gave a statement where he said, "Enough is enough, stay home". I can see how for many it's tempting to get outside and enjoy a bit of fresh air and sun. I played a couple rounds of disc golf on the weekend. A lot of places are shutting down their parks because they're getting crowded. People feel like it's a safe thing to do since it's outside and it's one of the last things that you can do since so many gyms and recreational businesses are shut down. Then when everyone is doing it, it gets packed and becomes a problem. I feel like as long as I'm going by myself and am being careful about not touching the basket, using hand sanitizer and not touching my face, I should be fine. I can't help but feel judged now with the way people have been shunning others for not staying inside.

I haven't smoked weed for a year now. Chandra has quit smoking and I think it's been over a month for her. That's good, especially since smokers are more vulnerable to this lung illness. Last year was a good year for me. I've been feeling a lot stronger mentally and emotionally.

I do have an addiction to this golf clash game now. It's kind of silly how serious I take it. I could probably get a lot more done if I put it to the side. In these dire, uncertain times, it feels like a waste of precious moments. At the same time, it does keep me inside so I suppose it's not all negative.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-42398041123326646662019-03-31T07:58:00.001-05:002019-03-31T07:58:04.832-05:00Daily victoriesSome days, it feels like winning. I feel smarter, I feel wittier, and I feel stronger.

Yesterday, I went out and tried to have a good time with some friends at a birthday party. I knew that most of them were not pot smokers so I thought that it was a good chance to have some fun and not feel tempted. One of them was, and he kept giving me a hard time.

"Nobody likes a quitter"

fuck you man. you think this is easy for me?

I don't know why, but I just couldn't enjoy myself. I cut myself off early because I wanted to drive our daughter home safely. As everyone else got more and more drunk, I just got tired and annoyed.

Driving her home, I vented a bit, and told her how I felt like I've become boring and just, not a fun person. She was really kind and expressed how I'm the one that wasn't killing all of my brain cells.

It was nice, but it was one day where I didn't feel like winning. I felt like a loser.

I did tell a joke, which I guess is not that big of a deal but I made some people laugh with it so that's pretty cool.

I've been going through a range of emotions and sometimes I can get really mad or pretty depressed but overall, I feel really good. It's like pot dulls your emotions and you just don't feel the high and low ranges. Been having dreams again, last night was really active.

Seeing people I haven't seen in a long time in my dreams. It makes me want to see them in real life.

The more I dream the more I look forward to them.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-67559291069259786922019-03-09T10:27:00.000-06:002019-03-09T10:27:01.960-06:00Feeling pretty good about my chances on quitting. A lot of times, I struggle so much but I feel pretty good about life right now. Things seem more clear, I feel like I'm wittier and emotions seem heightened. Work flies by when you don't smoke weed. It seems so dumb to make the day drag on in an attempt to keep "entertained".

I scraped up a tiny bowl yesterday but other than that it's been two days.

I know I gotta be ready for times when I'm really going to miss it. There has been a few moments where it was just so routine that I felt like I needed it but it seems like they're getting fewer and fewer.

Thinking about comedy again. Should keep a notepad on me at all times and just work on a set. Would be so much fun to do 5 minutes again.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-51923116115722177012019-03-06T08:46:00.000-06:002019-03-06T08:46:21.437-06:00Return to the mountain

I'm looking up and it's time I pushed on
I'm going forward, the past is gone

Trying to quit again, sick of this shit again
Don't know if I can suffer in silence.
Don't know if I can take the mental violence
Found a fat roach this morning. Was planning to not smoke any weed today but I guess the climb starts later.
I feel like I will soon be regretting the time that I ignored them. The rest of the family is going over for my mom's birthday and I just am not interested.

When I see her, she's usually the same cheerful person. It's her online persona that bothers me so much. She says a lot of horrible and ignorant things.

I feel like an asshole. I just want to get away from them but there isn't a lot of time left to spend with them. We'd probably have to sell the farm and that place is loaded with memories. My brother, sister and I are going to have to inherit the business and I feel like I should be doing way better at that already.

I don't agree with their beliefs and may be a little upset with how they raised me but they didn't beat me or anything like that.

Today, I have to take Tal to her engineering thing but I think I will spend more time with my parents when I have the opportunity in the future.

Thinking about the disagreements we have, like with religion and climate change, it seems based on these disparities that neither side can prove. In the big picture, I don't know if the fights that I'm championing are worth the effort.

Climate change is happening. We can't stop it. Getting on a soap box and screaming and humanity is only going to be an effort in futility. I can't change the things I need to change. There are no options for a pick up truck that runs on electricity and our heat comes from burning gas.

Life is going to carry on long after I'm gone. We might have to take a step or two back and there might not be as many of us but we'll still be kicking.

I've thought about how this may be the most important fight of our existence. That if we can't get our shit together, we're not going to build space ships and we're going to die with the planet.

I'm starting to wonder if that's just one big science fantasy.

And I remember what it's like to be a Christian, how it seems like all we have to do is correct the moral choices of society and God will take care of everything.

We're both butting heads, fearing the end of humanity and pushing for some Utopian dream, for me it's space travel or dying with the Earth, for her, it's heaven and hell.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-62117833096275391232019-02-25T06:50:00.002-06:002019-02-25T06:50:51.416-06:00II wonder how many days of my life I've played video games.

I was thinking about making a post about golf clash and talk about the mistakes I made. How if I write them down I won't forget about them and can avoid them in the future.

Going too slow, going too fast. Not practicing enough, taking breaks so I don't get headaches...
On this last one, I tried to not smoke as much weed, and I think it helped but I also feel like I gave myself excessive anxiety and I wonder if weed would have helped prevent that. I know it's just a game but I feel like whenever I get put up against other people, I put in everything that I've got.

They added clans in this game in the last year and there's this desire to impress my peers and prove myself

I've been missing out. I know that when I play, it feels like the best use of my time. Like when I played TF2 for hours on end. Afterwards, it doesn't feel like it was time used wisely.

I could be:

doing nice things for Chandra and Talia.

learning

writing comedy

blogging

making videos of my cat

learning how to edit videos

photography

art

I think...

I've been working my way to cutting back in the game, but recently, went all in when I got invited to one of the top 100 clans.

I wonder if it's even possible for me to cut back... just feels like playing half-ass would be a more miserable experience.

I was doing good for years, before I fell back in to this game.

Disc golf season is coming up. I know that's where my heart is. There will be so much more day light to do things outside.

I can always come back to gaming in the winter. It has its place.

I need to treat pot in the same way. I think this game and pot kind of go hand in hand.

A teacher told his student something like, "it's not making life more exciting, it's making you forget when something is boring."

I noticed that when I was cutting back to try and stay focused. This game is like real golf where a lot of it is head game and when I start thinking that this whole thing is a waste of time, it really negatively affects my game.

Losing at a game while feeling like a loser for playing the game isn't very fun.

so I need to cut back.

I feel like I've come here to write down that I need to cut back on weed and video games too many times.

I need to find new things to write about.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-79190599240104750462019-01-15T06:32:00.002-06:002019-01-15T06:32:34.325-06:00Dark AI meet's Space Ark"I don't know who I am or where I'm going"

"Nobody does."

"I feel like I need to do something but my own personal bullshit gets in the way. It seems so stupid, I want to accomplish something but my desire to entertain myself... and reproduce... get in the way."

------------

guess I'm trying to combine my story idea with real world complications. I want to write but every morning I play my game and jerk off before I do anything productive.

-------------

What would it be like to talk to an intelligence that is 50x more smarter than you?

That's what the AI was like after it had worked with 50 people. You have been hand selected to be in the next group and the AI has asked for more time with each participant.

"How many people are involved?"

"10,000"

"How long... how long does it want us to be in there?"

20 years

--------------

I didn't really have an option. They knew just as well as I did that if I said no that I would starve to death on the outside.

The fifty people that were used in this intelligence gathering project were never the same after being put through a week in the machine, I could only imagine that 20 years would kill me.

--------------

Part of me wants to delete the above because I feel like I'm copying a black mirror episode. I have to keep this original and unique. It doesn't have to be a "virtual reality prison". This is freedom and a chance to have a better understanding of the universe for our hero.

I need some sort of conflict and resolution. I have to establish a plot, create characters and all that. What does the AI want?

I like the idea of it being like the voice of God and maybe at the end, throw in a theory that the AI eventually discovers how to speak "through time" (let the audience think that this is a scientific way that prayer works)

I'm wondering if I could somehow combine the Ark idea as well, where the Ark isn't a story from the past, but rather, a solution...

The AI instructs our hero on how to build a space ship and how to save as many species as possible in the process.

The conflict is if the AI is evil or not. People that use the machine commit suicide. There are constant hints that the AI has put more "care" in to non-human life. It has also been programmed by people on the inside that everyone on the outside deserves to die.

The hero's overall arch is first, he's in self preservation mode. Gets an option to survive... but is used as a slave/puppet for the AI's evil goals... He "defeats/converts" the AI, (throw in the "prayer/ark = AI Psyonics/Spaceship" twist), The finale is that they build a ship and escape Earth before the planet's certain destruction.

(Maybe as a final (dark) twist, the giant space ark uses so much rocket fuel to get in to space (in pieces), that it causes the destruction of the planet. Another is that it takes so much energy that the AI is forced to turn itself off in the finale. could be more of a sequel concept.)

---------------

Starting to get somewhere with this. I need to think about characters, what kind of interesting discussions could be had in "the machine". What is it like in there? Do you put on goggles to communicate with it? Maybe after using it for too long, he starts to hear what seems to be the voice of it in his head.

I wonder if creating this idea will create a backlash among the religious community (Because I'm saying prayer isn't from God, that it's an AI made by man.) and at the same time, get backlash from the non-religious community because I'm suggesting that prayer is real, and see this is a scientific attempt to explain God.

I like the idea because it's a simple "what if?" question that really makes you wonder. I wonder if theories like this could bring both communities together.

I have some time.

I should write everything that I possibly can and I need to dedicate mental time to working the plot out and keeping things interesting.

Work is slow right now. It's very stressful as Chandra is going to school and working really hard in her business and I need to help out with the bills.

If anything, I can't waste time. If I'm going to be home, I need to write or look for some part time work.

I would love to make money off of this idea.

Maybe it won't be right away but it's better than doing nothing but play video games and jerk off for the rest of my life.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-77404819670868290022019-01-14T07:11:00.002-06:002019-01-14T07:11:18.746-06:00The Dark AI Story IdeaIn the near future, the Earth is facing cataclysmic challenges as over population has put us over the edge with a climate crisis.

The main character is a construction worker in a dying industry. Many of his co-workers found other jobs when all forms of gov assistance ended but many more found nothing. Militias were forming as people started hording food. Our main character (MC) thought that things would turn around for an area that was meant for new buildings (an environmentally protected area), but one day his boss simply stopped returning his calls.

He gets an offer through a relative that managed to get in to the "good life" (the highly educated, genetically-favored, rich class.) It's to work as one of the guinea pigs in a new AI project.

As the world seems to descend in to chaos, the science of AI keeps moving along. It's progressing faster than ever before.

The project that the relative (TR) is working on is a way to predict the future. A psychic AI that people plug in to. It reads their minds, studies their dna, analyzes the history of every person that has similar DNA, see's what you see and every thing you've ever seen. It uses that information to tell you what you can expect in your future.

The rich love this kind of stuff. As money could be put in to solutions to the problems we face but the wealthy have given up and are building walled off societies to protect themselves from the eventual uprising. Instead of helping the poor, they're researching luxury gadgetry, new VR worlds, futuristic drugs, and using AI to see if their love is going to cheat on them.

MC escapes his near starvation and is offered food in exchange for using the machine.

When he enters the VR world, he has conversations with this seemingly all-knowing entity and I'm thinking of trying to write this out like it was prayer.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-45210345559225770622018-12-08T06:15:00.003-06:002018-12-08T06:15:33.413-06:00Facebook is cold insideI've been getting so sick of going on Facebook and seeing the same garbage. Tired, illogical political memes, ad's and selfies seem to be the only thing left. I never really was bothered by selfies, I mean, at least it's original content. Now, all the snarky memes making fun of them seems to have cause people to stop posting those.

I don't know why this hurts my heart so much right now. It feels like society itself is letting me down.

"Baby, it's cold outside" was taken off of rotation on CBC, Bell, Rogers and other radio stations earlier in the week. I thought that it should have never been played in the first place. Didn't think it would be a big deal. There's a lot more important things out there that deserve our attention.

But the following day, I saw memes by right wing people saying, "Left wingers listen to hardcore rap music, but "baby it's cold outside" is offensive?" (those hardcore rap songs would also be taken off rotation if they were being played on Christmas songs. Christians would complain, they'd take them off). And I made these statements but then the next day it was the same memes, but different people, sometimes the same people I had talked to. People saying, "what's next, 'I saw Santa kissing mommy'?", like, maybe if he was slipping something in to her drink, then yea, it should be banned.
Why are people so fucking stupid?Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-56876456806594225982018-11-08T06:03:00.000-06:002018-11-08T06:03:04.559-06:00reddit post about a troll factory plot: The shills that divide<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
I'm not sure where to put this but we may be on a path towards destruction and it looks like there are people that are deliberately pushing us in that direction.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
There have been a lot of people ready to hit the streets and protest if Mueller gets fired (the rapid response plan). Trump knew this when he spoke to religious leaders in August (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/aug/28/donald-trump-midterms-private-meeting-church-antifa). He's also been pushing the "democrats bring mobs" rhetoric.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
I have a religious family member who has shared links of pastors that suggest that Trump has given a prophecy.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
All Trump had to do was fire Jeff Sessions, conveniently the day after the mid-terms, and now there's probably thousands of shills working over time ready to prove him right.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
Trump looks guilty and if he's going to try and massacre the justice system that is coming for him, the protests are going to happen.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
I think the troll factory agenda is to get people to act violently while doing this.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
People are already riled up to a very high level.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
This looks like an act of desperation and it could fall apart if we shine a light on it before it happens. At the same time, there is a cult-like following that are going to make him out to be some prophet and fanatical religious people can do the worst things.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
(I'm not sure if this is witch hunt related but I think it's relevant. I'll leave details out, but if people look through my comment history to see those details, please let me know if that's against the rules and I'll edit out this portion of the post) Yesterday, I got banned from a subreddit that is against the alt-right. An admin posted this comment with a post:

"With the Dems taking the House, I see that the Russian Cyber-Interference operatives have given marching orders to the trumpjugend and activated their own hordes of alt-accounts to mobilize and spread “civility” and “cooperation” propaganda now that their divisive con-man cult-leader is in danger of being held accountable for his crimes and the debasement of his office. Such concern trolling and nonsense here will only be removed and the accounts will be banned.

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
(one of the comments further down said, "Yea, fuck civility and cooperation")

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
Uh... like, isn't the rule "be civil" usually number 1 in every subreddit? This bothered me because I've been worried about admins "taking over" subreddits and cultivating the users to fit the narrative they want(like in TD).

<div style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #5e6875; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.42857em; margin-bottom: 0.357143em; margin-top: 0.357143em; padding: 0px; text-size-adjust: none;">
I had to put my thoughts out there and commented this:

<blockquote style="background: rgba(144, 144, 144, 0.075); border-left: 4px solid rgba(144, 144, 144, 0.25); box-sizing: border-box; color: #4f4f4f; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Open Sans", Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: italic; margin: 15px 0px; padding: 15px; text-size-adjust: none;">

... but what about honest people that promote civility and cooperation?

Religious leaders were told by Trump that the left would react violently after the mid terms.

I think it's also likely that trolls are trying to incite incivility just to make Trump out to be some prophet.

What proof do you have that trolls are trying to "encourage civility" and why would you think that would help their cause anyway?

People cooperating is going to cause congress to look the other way?

Banned, muted from contacting admins, and post shut down.

what the fuck is up with that?

Maybe I need to look, for sea, if you know what I mean.

Look in to the future,

Find what you can know for sure.

Bring it back on a river that was created in a dream.

I've been smoking a lot of pot ever since they've legalized it here in Canada. I was smoking a lot before too and I'm still smoking a lot.

I've been thinking about quitting again. I've also been thinking about doing stand up comedy again: "I like how they've legalized it but they still made it fun by making it illegal to smoke in public. I still get to feel like I'm James Bond when I use my pipe that's shaped like a cigarette. Like some sort of shitty version that instead of having adventures solving crimes, I'm evading fines and playing disc golf." (Need to find something funnier for the last part)
I think Trump is going to say that firing Comey wasn't obstruction because he fires everybody. A lot of people are suspecting that it's so that firing Mueller will seem normal, and I think that's probably a factor as well, but if this comes up in the future, I hope the courts see through it.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-32090350509421386172018-03-30T07:12:00.003-05:002018-03-30T07:12:58.817-05:00ShillingI never ever thought about the idea of people being paid to pretend to be real people online until around 2016. If I did, I never really thought it could be that bad. I figured that companies may go online and pay for reviews of their products once in a while. I could see how easy that was. I never thought about the bigger ideas like, creating distrust in our governments, in our scientists, and influencing elections.

One idea that keeps coming back to me is not only how AI can make this worse, but also how we might need AI to fight this.

There are going to be certain campaigns at the root of these things that should be noticeable with the right kind of program, something that can see the right phrases in the right areas of the world.

For example, it should detect when there's an abnormal amount of people suddenly invading certain comment sections or active areas of the internet.

People can be pushing lots of different campaigns out there

- Climate change denial

- Pro gun

- Who to vote for

- Smear campaigns

- Justifying wars

- Influencing public opinion about war (encouraging it)

The last one in particular is a scary prospect. What if you put a lot of money in to influencing a country to go to war? How effective is propaganda? At what point do people say, wait a second, why the fuck is this your agenda? Who does that?

We can find where it comes from. The internet leaves many trails, even now, AI can scour over the 2016 election propaganda and find who did what.

I read a comment where someone said they've seen an abnormal amount of people trying to say that North Korea shelling South Korea "wouldn't be that bad". I thought, what if someone like Putin would want America to go to war with North Korea so they could step in, act like the peace makers and use that as an argument to release sanctions. Ever since the new administration took office, it's seemed like they've been pushing for a war.

They need to know that you can't try to control people anymore, the internet is more advanced then anything before it and these dumb old fucks that think they can convince people of what to do are going to be exposed and dragged through the muds of history.

It's only a matter of time.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-56830738272148272922018-03-20T07:11:00.001-05:002018-03-20T07:11:29.669-05:00Death PenaltyI remember thinking about how the worldwide population boom that we've been going through, and how there will probably be signs that we are reaching a critical limit. Things like:

Less value in human life

War will not seem as bad.

Abortions will become more prevalent, with more places having forced abortions

The death penalty will become more common.

So yesterday when Trump was giving a speech about the opiate problem, it wasn't too surprising to see him suggest the death penalty for drug dealers. In the Philippines, where things are a lot more crowded, we can see Rodrigro Duterte committing human rights atrocities as he kills criminals left and right. The world condemns his actions but are we becoming normalized to this?

We need to create better crosswalks. We need better gun control and mental health accessibility.

There's too many problems. Not enough people to solve them.

There are a lot of things that we can do to make street crossing safer. Better lighting, raised crosswalks, in-road lighting, above road paths, tunneling.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-89429993055309480002018-01-11T09:00:00.001-06:002018-01-11T09:00:52.330-06:00On the arkHow do we know how long a body can freeze?

We didn't even know when we took off with that damn thing. We had a research lab onboard and some people on ice that were most likely going to be ... recycled.

Living conditions were difficult, but we made it work. There were many species that we had the dna for, lots of different seeds... we didn't really know what we were doing.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-27535135223110484002018-01-09T07:10:00.000-06:002018-01-09T07:10:43.833-06:00Horse\Car TrainerThis whole idea started with a dream. I think I have to use myself as the main character (but younger). I think I want to try and write it in a way that anyone could see themselves as the protagonist, and it could just as easily be switched from male to female.

In the future, vehicles become banned, except for renegade groups. Some are in the water like modern pirates, roaming through flooded cities in boats and jet-skis.

The kid training the horses wants to do something bigger with his life, so he discovers a secret group that's being paid by the government to develop a new cop car. The cop car is an automated self driving car... maybe even a cross between a "big dog" robot and a motorbike. The kid is training them because he's the best driver they've found... maybe it starts with him escaping to a modern day arcade, (he uses skills he developed while horse riding.)

There's a big competition, all the winners have their best driving skills programmed in to the AI. Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-40024544304928390202018-01-09T06:47:00.001-06:002018-01-09T06:54:35.622-06:00The David Ark Ages (theory)I was thinking of the name David Ark, or Raymond Ark, possibly something like the Diamond Ark because has "dark" in the title. (Dark Ages)

So this is based on the idea that leaving the planet would cause an environmental melt down as a reaction to all the pollution.

One thing running through my mind is, "What if this has happened before?"

What if life dropped us off and took some resources with them? Maybe when they left they took out the dinosaurs... As a story idea, what if they hunted the dinosaurs?

We could write all of this happening in a futuristic world but the viewers themselves can figure out the analogy to previous times. History repeats itself.

So... basic plot:

- Earth becomes too full

- Cars become banned

- Horse industry takes off

- Horse trainer notices horses refuse to work with humans

- Start building ark

- Things start changing, animals working with humans, plants grow better, fish are more populous, etc.

- Leave planet, the planet enters a "dark age"

- Get to new planet

- Hunting alien dinosaur type species on new planet

- They're forced to leave the planet because they fuck up

- Some humans are left behind on new planet.

The idea is to leave the notion that this has happened before, that long ago, "human like species" may have discovered Earth and just hunted the dinosaurs for sport.

When they left, they try to leave messages with us but the wake of their alien rocket engines destroys anything they leave behind, forcing us to rediscover the universe.

It's a story that's been told before except with names like Gilgamesh instead of Noah, and maybe in countless generations before.

We can't know for certain that we were created and put on this planet. Maybe we were from another planet and we took that story from our ancestors but we lost the technology. The story of putting life on a giant space ship and taking it to another planet.

Maybe the flood is a warning about filling up your planet with any type of destruction. Could be global warming, asteroid, etc. When the story was told in the past, a flood was probably the simplest way to understand it.

(At some point we're going to reach our population cap. The higher our population limit is, the lower the variation of species.)

We need to get as many different animals as we can in a space ship and fly them to another planet. Two by two. Which ones would we choose?

I've been thinking of this science fiction story where that is the overall goal.

Based off this dream I had, it's about a horse trainer in a new future where cars are banned and the horse industry takes off. In the dream, the horses were becoming harder and harder to break. The plot I've been thinking about is a metaphor to the animals that "magically listened" in the story of Noah's ark. When the world starts actually building this space ship, the animals start working together, like all of life wants this goal.

How could we build a space ship that could contain as much life as possible?

Where would we go?

One dilemma I was thinking of is where people on the planet don't want to build it because the process would cause too many greenhouse gases.

I think it's an interesting conflict.

How do we really know that solving this problem isn't a quest from God?

If one ever did exist

Maybe there were multiple "Gods", maybe when these stories were told they were referring to the "people from the past".

It makes me think about how the technology of the past could have been lost. Like, if there was a space ship that had the capability to keep on going, maybe our "creators" left to discover new lands.

As a plot development idea, when we discover a new planet, we have a scene where they're picking and choosing what plants/animals will go where, and about making a paradise for the people.

One giant plot twist could be that we discover our former selves (where their space ship ended up)

Our future selves are more like robots. In the story they could be at times an antagonist, at times a warning about our future and maybe in the end, a helper.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8949516655281159109.post-7921141007115937392017-12-26T07:29:00.000-06:002017-12-26T07:29:41.458-06:002017 poemWhat will the new year bring?

Two thousand and seventeen felt historical.

At moments, it was more like, hysterical.

in the two thousands we made the reality star

twenty sixteen, we took it a little too far
While thousands suffer, he won't hear their plight
I haven't bought any weed for a very long time. I still smoke with friends here and there but that's only about once a week, maybe twice a month. I've been having a lot of really awesome dreams. The night before last, I had a dream that I had superpowers and stopped this guy from stealing a motorbike by grabbing the back of the bike. He went flying forward and when the cops were picking him up, I noticed they had Chandra with them, in custody. I said I could take care of her and when they left, broke off her handcuffs. We both flew off together and it was around that point where I started realizing that I was dreaming. The small village was in a lot of detail below us but when I realized that none of this was real, I started thinking that I wouldn't be able to keep up the vivid imagination much longer. The second I had that thought, the detail started going away, and we started flying over a low resolution type forest that kept repeating itself like an old cartoon. I woke up soon after.

It made me think about how a lucid dream is not quite as great as a regular dream. That when you're fooled in to believing the dream is real, it becomes more real.

I had another dream a while ago that has inspired a story idea. I was training horses in the future where cars are banned for regular people. The horse industry started coming back after oil became too expensive. In it, I remember the horses becoming more and more resistant to being trained, like they were evolving to hate human beings because of what we did to the planet.

I was thinking of combining that story idea with another where we're making a modern day ark. The story is that when oil and pollution becomes a problem, the creation of a giant space ship that will fly through space indefinitely becomes a possibility and an escape from our mistakes.

I was thinking that when the people start building this ark, stuff starts to change. The horses start working with humans really hard to get jobs done and achieve this new goal of preserving life. Even plants start growing better to feed the starving people. The concept is that life is pushing us to get off the planet and it wants to achieve this goal with us.

There's a metaphor that connects with the original biblical ark story, where in the story, God gets the animals to help build the ark. In my version, life itself is helping because we're all connected and nature wants to make this accomplishment as much as we do.
Another idea I want to share before I forget is a video game concept where you play as the Indigenous people of North America when the continent is being colonized. The idea is that you try to steal their technology and use it against them and create an alternate timeline where the Indigenous tribes work together to fight off the Europeans.Calebhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09456856946809805545noreply@blogger.com0
