wouldn't it be cool if there was some way to see back in time?

Like a giant reflective galaxy (or giant mass) that sends back all the photons that hit it. So the sun would shine on Earth, the light then bounces off and hits the mirror galaxy and comes back to Earth where we observe the past. Of coarse, there would need to be some sort of futuristic technology that could absorb the Earth's photons but filter out all the other ones. You would only be able to see on clear days, and the right time of year, but it's an interesting concept. One, that could provide absolute proof of things that happened in the past.

I've thought about this often, and I think about the most interesting things, like the "first ever" moments.

I wonder when the first word was ever spoken by a human. To see the first person trying to convince other people how to speak and how to use language would be fascinating.

I know some people believe that we were created with language or that a species that lived in the sea taught us how to speak.

I would love to see the real truth, to be able to look back in time and see it unfold.
